Lisa Desilva-Rodriguez passed away peacefully on April 7, 2026 at 63 years old, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and unforgettable warmth.

Born and raised in Crotonville, New York to Joseph Perry DeSilva and Edith Agatha Hoyt. Lisa carried the spirit of her hometown with her throughout her life. She later made her home in Peekskill, New York, where she continued to live a life centered around family, resilience, and compassion.

Lisa was an extraordinary woman whose presence lit up every room she entered. She had a heart that knew no limits, always giving, always loving, and always putting others before herself. Her kindness, strength, unwavering devotion to her family and knack for brutal honesty defined who she was. She had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and deeply cared for, leaving a lasting impression on everyone lucky enough to know her.

Lisa was a devoted mother, and wife. She is survived by her husband, Victor Rodriguez, her two beloved sons, Victor Desilva and Tyler Rodriguez as well as her brothers David, Joseph, Steven, and Donald DeSilva. The love she poured into them will continue to live on in their hearts forever. Lisa will be remembered not only for her strength, but for her laughter, her resilience, and the deep love she shared so freely. She will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 25th from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Grace Hall in Ossining, New York, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember the incredible life she lived"
