Anne Marie Rogaski, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2026, at the age of 81 after a life defined by love, loyalty, elegance, strength, humor and an extraordinary devotion to her family, friends and community.

Anne was born on May 1, 1945, in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Her beginnings were modest. The third of eight children born to Frederick and Jean Keune, she was raised in Brooklyn and later Staten Island. Growing up caring for her younger siblings, she developed a deep sense of nurturing, devotion and determination that would remain with her throughout her life.

After graduating from high school, Anne began an independent life and set her sights on New York City. She became a secretary at Morgan Guaranty in Manhattan and loved everything about the city—its energy, its opportunities and, of course, the chance to dress to the nines. As a young woman, she carried herself with a natural sense of grace, poise and style that would become her trademarks.

In 1965, she met the love of her life, Edward Rogaski Jr., who first set eyes on her at a wedding in Bayonne, New Jersey. They married in 1968. Together they built an extraordinary life that took them around the world through his career in the United States Merchant Marines and Exxon. They lived in Nicaragua, Singapore, The Netherlands and England. Everywhere Anne went, she formed friendships that lasted a lifetime.

Their son Teddy was born in 1972 in Morristown, New Jersey, followed by their daughter Faye in 1975 in Wimbledon, England. The family eventually settled in Mendham, New Jersey, which became their home for 20 years. Anne called being a mother the “greatest gift of her life.” She created a home filled with warmth, music, friends and laughter. She loved hosting holidays, parties and dinners, with guests inevitably dancing late into the night.

Anne devoted herself wholeheartedly to her family, siblings and friends. They were her greatest pride and she was always quick to be there—a phone call, a drive or a flight away. Anne was the person who showed up, especially during someone’s darkest days or most difficult years.

That same compassion extended beyond her own family. Anne volunteered for many years with CASA, where she advocated for children in the foster care system, reflecting her deep sense of responsibility and commitment to those in need. She was also a tremendous proponent for greater awareness and understanding of mental health long before it was openly discussed.

Later in life, while her children were in high school, Anne fulfilled a lifelong dream and pursued her college education. She graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in Psychology and went on to work in Human Resources at Bear Stearns, where, in true Anne fashion, she formed friendships that endured long after the job ended.

Anne was intelligent, curious and deeply engaged with the world around her. She loved tennis, reading, crossword puzzles, politics, current events, cooking, home decorating, long walks and good conversation—and she was never afraid to share her opinion. She was direct, witty, spirited and always authentically herself.

Anne and Edward later moved to Riva Pointe in Weehawken, where their home overlooked the New York City skyline she had loved since she was a young woman. Once again, Anne created a beautiful home and a vibrant community around her, building friendships and filling her home with social gatherings and parties. She became involved in book clubs, volunteered with the Hudson River Performing Arts Center and was an active member of the Republican National Club in New York City. She and Ed also continued to share their lifelong passion for travel.

In 2012, Anne welcomed her first grandchild Adriana, followed by Oliver in 2015, beginning one of the most treasured chapters of her life. She adored her grandchildren and devoted herself to loving, nurturing and being present for them. They brought her immeasurable joy.

Anne gave everything she had to the people she loved. She loved fiercely, showed up completely and left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know her. Her elegance, strength, humor, loyalty and unmistakable spirit will live on in her family and in the countless friendships she cultivated throughout her life.

Anne is survived by her beloved husband, Edward Rogaski Jr.; her son, Edward “Teddy” Rogaski III, and his wife, Jessica Mazur; her daughter, Faye, and her husband, Federico Muyshondt; her beloved grandchildren, Adriana “Addy” and Oliver “Ollie” Muyshondt; her siblings, Patricia Leary, Terence Keune, Paul Keune, Brian Keune, May Lewis and Janice Keune; and her many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Frederick and Jean Keune, and her brother, Ricky.

A celebration of Anne’s life will be held at Trump National Golf Club Westchester to reminisce and celebrate a woman who lived fully, loved deeply and will be profoundly missed.
